Workshop with Sarah Waschke

With her empowering embroidery workshop on the 12th of April from 3:30 pm until 6:00 pm, the afternoon before the vernissage of her exhibition, the artist invites you to take a caring look at yourself, your own body, experiences of discrimination and how to deal with them. In addition to an introduction to embroidery basics, Sarah will give a brief insight into textiles as a feminist art medium.
The Workshop offers a space for creative exlporation and to exchange ideas with each other. Embroidery as handicraft becomes feminist practice and an activits tool.
The workshop is suitable for startes, for free (donations are welcome of course) und planned for 17 people. You can sign up under anmeldung@qzm-rn.de.
