Old Way is the first performance style of the ballroom scene. It originated in the 1960’s in Harlem, New York and was originally called Pop, Dip ‘n Spin before New Way and Vogue Fem were developed.
In Old Way we focus on precision, style and grace by presenting long lines, powerful postures, symmetry and precision, movements and poses performed gracefully and fluidly and attitude troughout the whole body. The style is strongly inspired by hiëroglyphs, posing, martial arts, breaking and popping.
